Pass Christian Middle School (PCMS) clubs joined forces to make National Kindness Week a series of events that students and teachers will treasure forever.   The members of the PCMS Student Council, Junior Civitan, and Beta Club created a list of ideas for students and teachers to focus on throughout the week of January 23-27, 2017.  A couple of examples:  Monday was Sticky Note Kindness.  Students posted positive, kind, or encouraging notes on the classroom door of their first period class.  Students entering the classroom throughout the day would hopefully be inspired by the collection of notes.  Wednesday was Give Smiles and/or High 5’s to others to get a good vibe flowing.  Some daily activities included the following acts of kindness:  Encouraging others when they make mistakes.  Encouraging others to do the right thing.  Sit by someone new at lunch.   Pick up trash in your classroom and around the school as you see it.  Hold the door for others.  Students were challenged to continue the acts of Kindness throughout the school year.  Good Morning Pirates, our PCMS school news, promoted each day’s Kindness Mission - aligning with our school Renaissance theme, Mission Possible.
