WHO ARE WE?

Nestled under the oak trees along the MS Gulf Coast, the Pass Christian Public School District serves as one of the premier school districts in the state of Mississippi. With 75% of its schools having earned a National Blue Ribbon and a long-standing legacy of high academic achievement, 'Pirate Excellence' is well known across the state and region.

The Pirate Excellence Foundation was established in the fall of 2021 to promote excellence in the Pass Christian Public School District through student scholarships, teacher grants, and charitable giving to the schools and athletic programs. The Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit, was founded by 9 engaged citizens who believe in the mission of the school district, which aims to partner with the community and families to empower all students to be college-career-ready learners, critical thinkers, and contributing citizens. The Foundation has the full support of the school board of trustees and superintendent of schools as an organization that promotes and supports the great things that are happening in the district.
