The Pass Christian Public School District: A Tradition of Excellence

The Pass Christian Public School District is fully accredited by both Cognia and the Mississippi Department of Education. For the 2024–2025 school year, our district earned the highest academic performance designation in the state—an “A” rating—along with each of our individual schools also receiving “A” ratings.

Ranked sixth among all school districts in Mississippi, Pass Christian continues to be recognized as a leader in educational excellence. The Mississippi Department of Education has commended our district for its outstanding academic achievements and for serving as a model of excellence for schools and districts across the state.

Our dedicated faculty and administration are among the best in the state, with a significant percentage holding advanced degrees and National Board certifications.

Seventy-five percent of our schools have been honored as National Blue Ribbon Schools:

Pass Christian High School (2005)
Pass Christian Middle School (2012)
DeLisle Elementary (2013)

Both elementary schools have been honored as National ESEA (Title I) Distinguished Schools:

High student achievement, driven by a rigorous and challenging curriculum, has garnered national attention, including recognition in the ASCD docu-series Disrupting Poverty.
