The Pass Christian Public School District applies annually to receive grant funding under Section 611 and Section 619 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). As a Local Education Agency (LEA), the district is awarded this grant through an application process. All IDEA funds are budgeted for and expended in accordance with the provisions of IDEA and other Federal and State funding requirements.
The application is filed in the Mississippi Comprehensive Automated Performance System (MCAPS). Transparency is the goal of the state and district. The fiscal year (FY21) application for the Pass Christian Public School District’s budget for students with disabilities is attached.
